We have taken a significant step towards bolstering blockchain security by launching the second cohort of our Smart Contract Audit Training Program, which is currently in full swing. This program is designed to empower Solidity developers, helping them hone their skills, and become proficient and certified Smart Contract Auditors.
The ongoing Smart Contract Audit Training is on track to achieve its primary objective: educating participants on the best practices for auditing smart contracts so they can contribute to the overall security of decentralized applications. The training officially commenced on the 5th of September, 2023, and the sessions are held every Tuesday at 6 pm CET, spanning over a comprehensive 10-week duration.
The training program is led by seasoned professionals in Smart Contract Security, with extensive experience in conducting audits for prominent blockchain companies. Their wealth of knowledge and guidance ensures that participants receive top-notch training and invaluable insights, equipping them to effectively secure the blockchain ecosystem.
As this training program continues, it promises to be a pivotal resource for all Solidity Developers and aspiring Smart Contract Auditors.
The first cohort was a high success and the above image is a remarkable testament to the efficacy of the Smart Contract Audit Training Program. One of our exceptional participants, Ravi Kiran Betha, competed in competitions in Moonwell Audit on Code4arena and secured 6th position. This marked a significant milestone in his career as a Smart Contract Auditor which commenced only a few months through our Smart Contract Audit training.

Concluded Hackathons on techFiesta
1. HUMAN Hackathon
The HUMAN Hackathon, jointly organized by EkoLance and HUMAN Protocol, has successfully ended with remarkable achievements. This event was hosted virtually on techFiesta, our hackathon platform, and it was used for the submission of projects and payment of bounties to the winners with just one click of a button. The hackathon commenced on the 20th of July, 2023, and witnessed the active participation of 156 talented developers.
During this hackathon, participants were presented with two intriguing problem statements to choose from, or they could opt to tackle both challenges with a bounty prize of $2,000.
In the end, after fierce competition and impressive innovation, a single standout winner emerged, and a bounty price of $750 was directly deposited through techFiesta into his wallet for his exceptional project.
2. Celo and Bunzz Hackathon
The Celo Africa DAO Hackathon, held in collaboration with Bunzz, has concluded with resounding success, with over 300 enthusiastic individuals from Africa registering for the hackathon, demonstrating a strong interest in advancing the blockchain ecosystem in the region.
21 impressive projects were submitted, each reflecting their commitment to innovation and creative problem-solving, and out of the 21 submissions, 11 finalists emerged, showcasing the high quality of projects generated during the hackathon.
The hackathon event ended with a physical event where the top 11 finalists presented their projects in front of a panel of judges, and other blockchain enthusiasts who were present at the event in Nigeria.
After the presentation, 5 outstanding projects stood out as winners, claiming a share of the bounty prize of $5,000, which was distributed among these top 5 performers on techFiesta. To read more about this hackathon, click here.
